Shawna Cochrane B.A. CYC

Owner/Operator/Interventionist

Shawna has enjoyed working in relationships with many children, youth and families over a span 25+ years.  

In 2001, Shawna opened a Family Child Care Facility working with children ages 0-12 years.  

Shawna completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) in 2008, primarily focusing on Psychology, Child Development and Special Needs.  She completed her practicum training as a Behavioural Interventionist while working for 3 years under the direct supervision of a Behavioural Consultant. 

In 2010, Shawna started a private Learning Centre which provided educational and therapy based services to school aged children diagnosed with Autism.  Within 2 years, she transitioned her private business into a Non-Profit Society and enjoyed assisting many children, youth and families over a duration of 10 wonderful years.

Shawna is now looking forward to working with many more children, youth and families as she embarks on her new business with Fresh Outlook Intervention.
